Itinerary summary
About
This itinerary will allow you to see some of the most alluring cities along the "Turkish Riviera" as well as the Greek Dodecanese Islands. Bodrum is the best starting place for yacht charters, and Marmaris, a popular tourist location in southwest Turkey, is where your boat adventure will come to an end. You will pass by the islands of Kos, Symi, and Rhodes along the trip, as well as the entire wealth of the Aegean Sea. For those who enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving, it is a heaven.

Bodrum
Starting your Mediterranean exploration
If you're cruising in from the east Med on your yacht charter, the first thing you'll see is the spectacular 15th-century Bodrum Castle overlooking the azure water. Keep going and you'll be welcomed by the sheer waters of Bitez Beach, where no matter how deep it is, you can almost always see the sandbank. The Windmills of Bodrum, perched atop a grassy hill with a striking mountainous backdrop, are something worth leaving the yacht for. Once ashore you can stroll through the energetic Bodrum Marina, explore the local crafts and fare at the nearby Turkish bazaar.

Kos
Home of Hipporcrates
By day, Kos is a gorgeous island surrounded by beach coves, crystal-clear waters, and fortresses from the fifteenth century. It transforms into a party town at night, where Europeans from many various nations congregate. When you get close to this magnificent island, you'll see the imposing Castle of the Knights standing over the harbor. Explore the Plateia Platanou, the town's charming plaza, while strolling Kos Town's narrow alleyways. Then, have a leisurely lunch or a special meal in the stone-walled patio of Elia, a popular restaurant right in the center of the city. For something truly traditional, we advise the baked lamb and yoghurt meal.

Knidos
Aphrodite’s coastal sanctuary
Located in Turkey's southwest Muğla province’s Datça district, the 2,600-year-old city of Knidos, also known as Cnidus, is a unique historical gem that annually draws thousands of domestic and international visitors. With majestic buildings, a port street lined with columns, an agora, two ancient theatres, and two ports, the ancient Greek city has withstood the test of time exceptionally well.

Symi
Pastel Port of the Dodecanese
This covert paradise is not the most known of the Greek islands; making it all the more alluring on your private yacht charter adventure. Pastel-hued houses decorate the cliff faces framing the quaint Gialos harbour. The iconic Monastery of the Archangel Michael Panormitis is an impressive sight perched on the water’s edge while the many off-the-beaten-track beaches boast white pebbly shores and untouched turquoise waters, and are only accessible by boat.

Datca
Carved by wind, claimed by Zeus
The Datça peninsula is a gem on Turkey's coastline, filled with the remains of ancient empires and emerald green hills that are reflected in the azure of the Aegean. One of the most unspoiled coastlines in southwest Turkey is this 50-mile stretch of rocky shore. With its enormous coves, expansive olive orchards, and desolate beaches, the peninsula clearly needs a story about how it was formed by Zeus, the God of Sky and Light, according to legend.

Rhodes
Known as the "Sun Island"
Rhodes is an eclectic mix of cosmopolitan Europe, ancient history and Italian influence. Join the day-trippers and discover the New Town, with its high-end shopping and buzzing waterfront bars. Or uncover history within the Old Town Walls and visit the D’Amboise and St Anthony’s Gates, the Jewish Museum of Rhodes, and the Street of the Knights Have a midday break and a pastry at the Old Town Corner Bakery or enjoy a long lunch at Meltemi where you’ll savour taramasalata and fresh seafood with a side of water views.

Marmaris
The heart of the Turkish riviera
Arrive in the well-known city of Marmaris, one of Turkey's most picturesque cities. Marmaris is worth exploring from top to bottom. With its coves, sand beaches, evergreen trees, and vegetation, it has exceptional beauty.
